The Cortado Script typeface brings warmth and personality to the brand and is reserved for bold statements. The Freight Sans Pro typeface is used for all other communications as a versatile sans-serif that compliments Cortado and reads easily in both thin and thick weights.
Torani’s signature colors of red, blue, and yellow are classic and iconic, coming straight from the product's long-standing bottle label. We reworked the primary blue and yellow colors and developed a new secondary color palette to add energy and vibrancy to the brand.

Following a detailed experience plan developed alongside the client and creating a full set of wireframes, we delivered three distinct visual concepts to help put a stake in the ground on the brand’s evolving identity.
The concept “Cafe Perspective” was chosen for its authentic and handcrafted feel, nod to Torani’s heritage, and emphasis on human touch and the cafe environment in photography.
To create a sense of partnership between Torani and the foodservice community, we designed the website to bring Torani's new products, recipes and resources to the forefront, with opportunities to inspire and create community.
To showcase the brand's robust collection of products and recipes we designed a flexible system of product pages with the ability to search, sort, and filter. Each product and recipe page also includes a curated selection of related products, tutorials, recipes and more.
I helped design a magazine ad and landing page for the Mixes Well campaign. Our goal was to reestablish Torani as the go-to choice for quality flavored syrup in the foodservice industry by introducing new brand messaging and visual language, and emphasizing flexibility in what you can create with classic flavors cafe operators already know.
